From db0b163457b2ba0e4785799dc22ce197d51d3df1 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Chrok Date: Tue, 20 Oct 2026 23:24:07 +0800 Subject: [PATCH] Have replan requests report findings, not plans A node sees only the goal, its prompt, and its direct predecessors, so it cannot judge which planned work its finding affects. request_replan now asks for the finding and how it differs from what the prompt assumed, drops the trigger that needed knowledge of other nodes ("work outside your prompt"), and tells the node that the parent maps findings to the plan. Parent guidance says the same and suggests naming related work in a node's prompt when its findings could affect other branches. Docs use examples a node can actually observe. --- docs/execution-control.md | 24 +++++++++++++++++------- integrations/dsh/README.md | 13 ++++++++----- integrations/dsh/schema.ts | 3 ++- integrations/dsh/status-text.ts | 2 +- integrations/dsh/test/replan.test.ts | 2 +- integrations/pi/README.md | 13 ++++++++----- integrations/pi/index.ts | 3 ++- integrations/pi/status-text.ts | 2 +- integrations/pi/test/replan.test.ts | 2 +- src/replan-tools.ts | 9 +++++---- test/replan.test.ts | 5 ++++- 11 files changed, 50 insertions(+), 28 deletions(-) diff --git a/docs/execution-control.md b/docs/execution-control.md index 6b685bf..b4821bc 100644 --- a/docs/execution-control.md +++ b/docs/execution-control.md @@ -134,19 +134,29 @@ held result still needs a second resume once it settles. ### Replan requests from a node -A running node may learn that the plan around it is wrong: a sibling branch is -unnecessary, two planned fixes share one root cause, or the approach does not -work.
