Wizard: header background issues

Within the wizard header, the gradient of the header does not continue behind the back / next buttons.

I thought that was FAD. Isn't it the same on fuelux?

It doesn't behave this way in 2.4.0. I believe this may have been introduced with the change to support unlimited steps.
