Simulating keys breaks on Wayland

Hi! I recently changed distro to Fedora 42, which uses Wayland by default. When trying to simulate a keypress I get the popup window seen in the screenshot. After some googling this looks like a known issue, but i couldn't figure out how to solve it myself.

@BramVanBerkel I'll take a look, but as far as I know, the library ymousebuttoncontrol uses to interact with mouse and keyboard, sharphook, doesn't work well at all with wayland. I'll likely need to investigate an alternative mouse and keyboard solution for linux.
