White space when scrolling horizontally

Hi

Im trying to use your package, and it great when scrolling vertically, but cant quite get it to work when scrolling horizontally. Currenly i'm combining it with react-window and react-table, but it doesn't seem like it goes hand in hand with these packages?

Try scrolling a bit down the list, and then scroll horizontally - All content disappears, but re-emerges when scrolling vertically.
Any ideas to what's going on?

Hey @nickycdk from the GIF you attached I can see that the horizontally scrolling is not happening on the window object but instead on an inner element. So that's probably the reason.

However, I did click on the codesandbox link and noticed that you've updated it since then. The issue there seems to be that you are importing VariableSizeList while you should be using VariableSizeGrid. Give it a try and remember that the props you need to pass down are slightly different. You can find an example in the Readme.

If you want to support horizontal scrolling of a list (not a grid), you will need to call stopPropagation on the horizontal scroll event somewhere, so it doesn't bubble up to the react-window handler.

This is very close to the issue that i came across. I created PR #14 to resolve this, but you will still need to make the element that manages the horizontal scrolling the same as the element that manages the vertical scrolling. You will also need to pass a ref to the container that manages the scrolling so the scroll actions will trigger renders.

My issue is #13.
