Personal dotfiles for Arch

Setup

Main screen Rofi emoji script

Code screen Lock screen

Softwares I use

  • OS: Arch Linux 5.4 LTS

  • Shell: Bash

  • WM: i3-gaps

  • Terminal: St (My build)

  • Fonts: Hack, Noto Color Emoji, IPAPGothic (contain most kaomojis for my lockscreen)

  • Compositor: Picom

  • Lockscreen: xscurelock (maim is used to screenshot the current display)

  • Editor: Vim

  • System bar: Polybar

  • Notifications: Dunst

  • App launcher: Rofi with Gruvbox soft dark theme and Greenclip

  • File manager: Ranger

  • Image viewer: Sxiv

  • Music player: Ncmpcpp with mpd

  • Video player: Mpv

  • Pdf reader: Zathura

  • Code editor: Codium

Wallpapers

I use feh to randomly load a wallpaper when I start i3. My wallpapers generally come from other github repos or r/wallpapers - r/unixporn

Dotfiles management

I use a git bare repo to manage my dotfiles. I'm currently working on a script to automate their installation but feel free to ask for more details here or on Reddit.
