I use the FMA120 with my Sony WH-1000XM6 for voice calls. On my work laptop, the volume is FAR too loud, such that I have to use the bottom 3 volume levels most of the time (2, 4, and 6), and the change between them is large and uncomfortable.
I suggest either adding a toggle to make the volume control algorithm apply a logarithmic curve to the volume level received by USB, or adding a straight volume multiplier setting.
On my personal laptop, the volume control is completely fine for some reason. Both devices run Win11, 24H2 for my work laptop and 25H2 for my personal. I can check for specific sound driver versions if that would help.
