Roadmap thread for a deferral recorded in spec §18.
Today (v0.1): signature blocks are intentionally implementation-defined (§2.2). Renderers should generate them from frontmatter — contracts from all sides, unilateral acts from the issuer — and party legal_name must appear, but the spec says nothing about signing lines, dates, places, capacities, witnesses, or per-representative rules.
What a future model would need to answer:
Per-representative signing lines versus one line per party — and joint-signature rules (two board members signing together)
Date and place of signature: document fields, placeholders, or render-time?
Witnesses and notarization blocks, which some jurisdictions require structurally
Electronic signature platforms: anchors that DocuSign-class tools can target
What stays in the style template (layout) versus what becomes document data (who must sign, in what capacity)
Real signature-block requirements from your jurisdiction are the most useful input here — the model has to fit civil-law and common-law execution formalities without hardcoding either.
