Group messages not properly handled

Steps to reproduce the bug

Group messages are not properly handled. This shows up as:

A) Replying to a received group message causes all parties in the group message to get the reply, but those replies appear to be from the sender as an individual text. IE: my replies to a group message show up in each receiver's conversation for me individually.

In this you have yourself (Y), and Persons A and B

1. Have person A send you a personally addressed 1 on 1 text message. Reply to it.
2. Have person B send you a personally addressed 1 on 1 text message. Reply to it.
3. Have person A send a group message addressed to B and Y.
4. Reply to that group message

The reply will show up on the recipient's devices as an individually-addressed messages in the 1-on-1 conversations you initiated in steps 1 and 2, and will not show up in the group conversation.

B) When I get an individually addressed message from any person from whom in the past I have only ever received group messages, then that message appears in the group message conversation.

In this you have yourself (Y), and Persons A and B.

1. Have Person A send a group message to B and Y.
2. Reply to that message.
3. Have person B send you a personal 1-on-1 text message.

The message send in step 3 will arrive in the group conversation initiated in step 1, and not in a new personal conversation.

Expected behavior

Group messages should be submitted to the carrier as a group message, not sent as a group of individual messages. Received group messages should be handled separately from received individual messages.

Settings ➜ Scroll down to the Outgoing messages section ➜ Enable Send group messages as MMS

B) When I get an individually addressed message from any person from whom in the past I have only ever received group messages, then that message appears in the group message conversation.
