Early users need confidence before trusting hosted Cratebase with real collection data, and export must be easy to find. The UI should explain how user-controlled exports differ from operator-managed service backups.
Scope
- Build export actions for JSON and CSV.
- Add setup/onboarding screens or documentation entry points for hosted private beta users.
- Explain what is and is not included in v1 user exports.
- Explain that hosted service backups are separate from user-triggered JSON/CSV export.
- Surface the no-audio-upload guarantee for desktop imports.
- Test the export UI flow and expected user-visible states.
Done when
- A user can trigger exports from the UI.
- Onboarding explains the hosted archive workflow without marketing noise.
- Known v1 limits are visible and written in English.
- Backup and export expectations match Roadmap 20 and Roadmap 22.
