Description of the Bug Encountered
When using Biomes O’ Plenty together with Trim Patcher, certain armor items appear as large purple/black missing-texture cubes in the inventory. The issue only affects the item form (inventory/GUI). When the armor is equipped on the player, it renders correctly on the player.
Steps To Reproduce
- Install Fabric API
- Install Biomes O' Plenty
- Install Trim Patcher
- Launch the game
- Open the inventory or creative menu
- Check armor items
Expected Behavior
Armor items should render normally in the inventory.

Testing / Isolation Process:
- The issue was first observed in my personal modpack
- Created a clean instance with only Biomes O’ Plenty and its dependencies → no issue
- Added performance and rendering mods (Sodium, Lithium, etc.) → issue did not appear
- Began reintroducing mods from my modpack in groups → no issues initially
- Suspected either Legacies and Legends or Wilder Wild
- Added Legacies and Legends with its dependencies → issue appears
- Removed Legacies and Legends but kept its dependencies → issue still present
- Tested each dependency individually →
✔ Identified Trim Patcher as the cause of the incompatibility
Final Confirmation:
✔ Biomes O’ Plenty + Trim Patcher → Issue occurs
✔ Biomes O’ Plenty without Trim Patcher → No issue
The issue affects only item models, not equipped armor
