Currently RadeonProRenderBlenderAddon supports a diminished set of shader nodes as "available in the Add menu, with a number of exceptions" as per https://radeon-pro.github.io/RadeonProRenderDocs/en/plugins/blender/shader_nodes.html. Is there any plan or roadmap to support the full complement of cycles/eevee shader nodes without "baking unsupported nodes"? |

Looks like the plan to focus on the USD plugin, is in effect as recently RadeonProRenderBlenderAddon received 16 commits while BlenderUSDHydraAddon received 46 commits. RPR as an alternative to Cycles was great while it lasted. Hopefully in a few years RPR is again usable and actively developed in Blender via USDHydra. Thanks to the developers for their effort. |
