The difference between 2DTS and triangle mesh

There are two variables controlling the opacity distribution on the triangle face: the opacity value O and the compactness parameter γ. When O is set to 1, and γ is set to +inf, the triangle face collapses to a traditional mesh face.

Thanks for your reply! and could you please tell me how the sort_level setting in the configuration file affects the final results? For the reconstruction of a bounded scene(like DTU dataset), would setting it to 2 be more appropriate?

sort_level controls how the triangles are sorted during alpha blending. At 0, triangles are sorted by barycentric depth. At 1, triangles have per-patch (16 px * 16 px) depth. At 2, triangles are sorted by per-pixel depth. Setting it to 2 is the most accurate rendering setting, and generates a mesh with better geometric accuracy, at a slight cost of rendering/training time.
