Description
Currently, sterilization (technically, "high level disinfection") is done with ortho-phthalaldehyde (OPA). The brand name commonly used is Cidex. This is used internationally for disinfection of temperature-sensitive equipment. While not technically sterile, I believe this process is enough for our purposes for a device that is in any case going to be non-sterile after installation.
Here's a company overview of the procedures.
