            Most engineering design optimisation relies on parameterised geometry and predefined
            design templates. These approaches can identify strong solutions, but they also
            constrain the design space to concepts that have already been anticipated.
          </p>

            GoSim is developing a new patent-pending approach to
            computational design that allows geometry to evolve more freely, while maintaining
            the constraints required for engineering feasibility and manufacture.
          </p>
          <p>
            By combining advanced simulation, optimisation and a fundamentally different way of
            representing geometry, we aim to help engineers explore a broader design space and
            discover better solutions.

            GoSim was founded by James Goss, ex-CEO of Motor Design Ltd, the creators of
            Motor-CAD. James McMahon joined as CTO to take the software from prototype to
            product. Two founding engineers will join the team soon.
