Problem with inconsistent wave tremulants #129

I'd suspect that there must be something wrong with the IsTremulant value (play when Tremulant is ON or play when Tremulant is OFF) for the samples of the affected rank(s). I've got no idea of the exact particulars of your ODF, and I'm certainly not an expert on the Barton sample set itself either. However, I know that it is a bit complex as it also uses tremulants for other effects, like reit, but from an organ model point of view when you have actual pipes that should be possible to influence by a real tremulant all the samples representing that pipe should be grouped together within the same rank and have their IsTremulant properties correctly set to either play when the wave tremulant is on or off. Depending on exactly how you load the samples into the rank in GoOdf some special care of how the load settings are set up might be needed to (as much as possible) get the IsTremulant settings correct without so much work afterwards. The method I'd use would be to setup the load options like this (pay special attention to the checkbox "Load pipes to play when tremulant is off"): And then click the "Create new pipes by MIDI nbr from..." button and select/go into the Flute directory. Then as a next step I'd click the "Add tremulant samples from..." button and select/go into the FluteTrem directory. The different stops in the manual will use referenced ranks and reference to different parts of the Flute rank. As can be seen one can create from 32' to 2' with the available samples even though the tremulant samples only start at MIDI note 36. The windchest must of course reference the wave tremulant while adding the tremulant to the manual is really only for the divisionals to work correctly. |
