Some organ conversion will not sound the notes.

I have successfully converted a few free Hauptwerk organs to GrandOrgue, but then I was not successfull with a few others. St Maxime is one of the failures. One can hear the blower, but when the notes are pressed, nothing sounds. Is there anything in the .organ file I should be look for to fix the problem?

Could you please share the link where this sample set "St Maxime" can be recovered ? I will look at this issue.
Which OdfEdit version are you using ?

I do not know where I got it from a few years ago, and the package I have also contains 2 extended versions so someone was messing with the original (even though it works fine on HW). The original works fine now. On the extended versions, however, the pedals are out of tune with the rest by 1/2 note sharp. I cannot seem to correct that on Grand Orgue by transposing in the initial MIDI settings for the pedals, but, then I do not know GO that well, so I will go to their site for help.

I do have another problem converting another demo sample set, Notre-Dame de Vimoutiers. The OdfEdit conversion crashes GO when console is selected in the GO panel. Nor sure if I should open another discussion on this, but here is the page to where there is a download link for the demo sample set:

I know this sample set. A lot of loops warnings and errors are generated by GO when loading this sample set :

Warning: ........ The loop 1 is ignored: not enough samples for crossfade before it's start
Error: ............... No valid loops exist in the file

and indeed there is a crash of GO when the Console panel is opened. I don't know why, this panel is containing few sections (5 manuals, 1 enclosure, 1 background image). In OdfEdit, the viewer is rendering this panel without issue.
It may be interresting to analyze the reason of this crash. But as there are so much audio samples issues for GO, I am not sure that this sample set can be played in GO.

I partly solved the problem of the crashing in the Vimoutiers on one Windows computer, but not on others: I opened the background.png file for the console in MS Paint and without making any changes immediately saved it replacing the original. No more crashes. The original .png image file is problematic it seems. But why it works on one and not another computer is beyond me. Both have the same version of Windows 11 and Grandorgue.

But I have another problem with this Vimoutiers sample set. Some. and only some stops have an issue. When I press the key and let go, the sound of the tone continues for amout 6 six seconds in total, the length of the main .wav sample for the note. Others do not and work as expected. I compared the ODF stop entries between those that work fine and those that do not, I cannot see any issues or difference in the statements other than the obvious differences in stop name and their references. I checked, and all the .wav samples are there such as for short, mid, etc.. and sound OK on VLC. Moreover, no errors are reported when loading the sample set, unlike your experience. I have no idea where to start trying to solve this.
