This policy covers the Guidonica™ web app at guidonica.it, including /nightly/, and the project's email addresses. It is written to meet Articles 13 and 14 of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
The data controller is A. C. Lo Cascio, Italy. Privacy requests go to legal@guidonica.it.
Guidonica has no accounts, no cookies, no analytics, no ads and no third-party requests. The fonts, the music font and the sounds are all served by this site or made in your browser. The app never sends your settings or your practice anywhere.
Guidonica stores a few items in your browser's localStorage: your settings (including your language), whether you have seen the introduction and the landscape tip, how many tips you have seen, and the last version you opened. A service worker also keeps a copy of the app so it works offline.
None of this is sent to anyone. You can delete it at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser. This storage is strictly necessary for the features you use, so it needs no consent (ePrivacy Directive Art. 5(3); Italian Privacy Code, art. 122).
A shared exercise link keeps its settings after the # in the address. Browsers never send that part to the server, so the settings leave your device only if you share the link yourself.
The site is hosted on GitHub Pages by GitHub, Inc. (USA). To deliver the pages and protect the service, GitHub processes the data that every web request carries, such as your IP address, browser type and the time of the request, and keeps IP addresses in its logs for security purposes. I do not receive these logs.
The legal basis is my legitimate interest in running a secure, working website (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)). GitHub is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. See the GitHub General Privacy Statement.
Links to GitHub, Ko-fi, Bluesky, Mastodon, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube open those services only when you click them, and their own privacy policies then apply.
If you leave a tip, Ko-fi and its payment processors (Stripe or PayPal) handle the payment as independent controllers. I receive the tip details that Ko-fi shows to creators, such as the amount, the name you give and any message you write. I keep them only as long as accounting and tax law requires (GDPR Art. 6(1)(c)).
If you write to hello@guidonica.it, legal@guidonica.it or security@guidonica.it, I use your address and your message only to reply, and I keep them only as long as your request needs. The legal basis is your request (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b) and (f)). Mail is hosted by Migadu-Mail GmbH (Switzerland, which has an EU adequacy decision) on servers in the EU.
You have the right to access, correct, erase, restrict, port and object to the processing of your personal data (GDPR Arts. 15–22). Write to legal@guidonica.it. You can also complain to the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali or to the supervisory authority where you live.
There is no automated decision-making or profiling. If this policy changes, the date above changes too, and every past version stays in this repository's history.

Guidonica non ha account, cookie, analisi statistiche, pubblicità né richieste a terze parti. I caratteri, il font musicale e i suoni sono serviti da questo sito o generati nel tuo browser. L'app non invia mai a nessuno le tue impostazioni né i tuoi esercizi.
Guidonica salva alcuni dati nel localStorage del browser: le tue impostazioni (compresa la lingua), se hai già visto l'introduzione e il suggerimento sull'orientamento orizzontale, quanti suggerimenti hai visto e l'ultima versione aperta. Un service worker conserva inoltre una copia dell'app perché funzioni offline.
Nessuno di questi dati viene inviato a qualcuno. Puoi cancellarli in qualsiasi momento eliminando i dati di questo sito dal browser. Si tratta di memorizzazione strettamente necessaria alle funzioni che usi, quindi non richiede consenso (direttiva ePrivacy, art. 5(3); Codice privacy, art. 122).
Un link condiviso a un esercizio conserva le impostazioni dopo il # nell'indirizzo. I browser non inviano mai quella parte al server, quindi le impostazioni lasciano il tuo dispositivo solo se condividi tu il link.
Il sito è ospitato su GitHub Pages da GitHub, Inc. (USA). Per consegnare le pagine e proteggere il servizio, GitHub tratta i dati che ogni richiesta web contiene, come l'indirizzo IP, il tipo di browser e l'ora della richiesta, e conserva gli indirizzi IP nei propri log per motivi di sicurezza. Io non ricevo questi log.
La base giuridica è il mio legittimo interesse a gestire un sito sicuro e funzionante (art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). GitHub aderisce all'EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. Vedi la GitHub General Privacy Statement.
I link a GitHub, Ko-fi, Bluesky, Mastodon, Instagram, TikTok e YouTube aprono quei servizi solo quando li clicchi, e da quel momento valgono le loro informative.
Se lasci una mancia, Ko-fi e i suoi processori di pagamento (Stripe o PayPal) gestiscono il pagamento come titolari autonomi. Io ricevo i dati della mancia che Ko-fi mostra ai creatori, come l'importo, il nome che indichi e l'eventuale messaggio. Li conservo solo per il tempo richiesto dalla normativa contabile e fiscale (art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).
Se scrivi a hello@guidonica.it, legal@guidonica.it o security@guidonica.it, uso il tuo indirizzo e il tuo messaggio solo per risponderti, e li conservo solo per il tempo necessario alla tua richiesta. La base giuridica è la tua richiesta (art. 6(1)(b) e (f) GDPR). La posta è ospitata da Migadu-Mail GmbH (Svizzera, paese con decisione di adeguatezza UE) su server nell'UE.
Hai diritto di accesso, rettifica, cancellazione, limitazione, portabilità e opposizione al trattamento dei tuoi dati personali (artt. 15–22 GDPR). Scrivi a legal@guidonica.it. Puoi anche proporre reclamo al Garante per la protezione dei dati personali o all'autorità di controllo del paese in cui vivi.
Non ci sono decisioni automatizzate né profilazione. Se questa informativa cambia, cambia anche la data in alto, e ogni versione precedente resta nella cronologia di questo repository.
