  • DOOMGram and DOOMScope;
  • file parameter for abort(), log(), report(), trace(), warn();
  • Implicit and explicit facilities for inferring/obtaining logging/tracing levels from the environment;
  • Logging/tracing interacting with existing logging libraries;
  • Separate out the file/line/function facilities from #trace();
  • Use pyproject.toml;
  • warn() can take multiple strings (a la Ruby's warn());
  • set_log_filter() to allow filter to be callable;
