Strange cursor and typing behaviour in Standard Notes #2359

Many thanks for all you've done with this app. It's the best open source keyboard I've tried and I love that it includes gesture typing and the recent enhanced emoji support.
My issue only occurs in one app. The cursor position jumps around when typing and changing position in a note; backspacing to delete a line often fails and leaves the last letter; and text selection often fails. This only happens in Standard Notes on android, on both my phone and tablet. I often end up switching to fossify keyboard if I'm typing a lot in the app.
To Reproduce
Issue present on opening and editing a note about two thirds of the time.
Work arounds including adding a double space to get the cursor in the right position, or exiting and reentering the same note when problems are present. Typing then behaves normally for a time (but never persistently).
Expected behavior
Typing and selection issues don't occur.
App version
3.7
Device:
- Model Samsung Galaxy S21 (and Galaxy Tab 9 Ultra)
- OS: Android 15, with One UI 7 (and Android 16 with OneUI 8.0)
