[Bug]: In windows11 terminal, Ctrl-C or Ctrl-D don't work

In windows11 terminal, Ctrl-C or Ctrl-D don't work in rmux 0.6.1

what happened

rmux test
timeout /T 10000

if in outer powershell, ctrl-C and ctrl-D can both broke the process

but if in rmux, the two keys could not work normally

Thanks for the report. This is fixed in RMUX 0.7.0: Windows attached input now preserves the console key metadata needed for Ctrl-C / Ctrl-D in ConPTY sessions.

private rmux helper not found under libexec/rmux; rebuild or reinstall rmux

In win11 powershell, is it caused by my config?

I use winget to install/upgrade

I am very sorry, I broke winget. I did some changes to make RMUX faster, and there was an edge case on the winget packages. I'll try to ship 0.7.1 today

@shideneyu Thanks for the follow-up! While timeout can now be interrupted, I think this fix might be too narrow — it seems like only the timeout command was specifically handled, rather than fixing the general signal delivery mechanism.

My original intent is that Ctrl-C and Ctrl-D should behave the same as in a normal terminal, forwarding them to the foreground process generically. The timeout command was just used as an example to reproduce the issue, I regard it as a normal process.

To be specific:

• Ctrl-C should send SIGINT to the foreground process group, causing it to terminate.
• Ctrl-D should submit the flash; if it is empty, send EOF to the process's stdin, signaling end of input.

The problem still exists for other processes. For example, the following also cannot be interrupted with Ctrl-C or Ctrl-D inside rmux in windows terminal on pwsh 7:

python -c "import time; time.sleep(10**6)"

Could you look into how signal/key delivery works in rmux more broadly, so that Ctrl-C and Ctrl-D are properly forwarded to any foreground process, not just timeout command?
