@Bjwebb weirdly the submodules don't actually contain the change this time but when I built it locally I think it did what I wanted so I think this is right

Yes that's right, the NonEmbbed codes are included as a build step, not a git submodule, so any way of triggering a new build will pull them in. I've also answered you more general question about how this works #162
