Investigate the paid newsArticle Yoast add on

• Research the plugin & its functionality for adding schema output to articles. In particular:

• Article Pages: Implement the NewsArticle Schema (example: https://jsonld.com/news-article/)
• Fix error on article pages - implement Publisher with SameAs schema
• Homepage format changes:
  Use NewsMediaOrganization type schema
  Add social media accounts with sameAs attribute:
  Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/publicsource/
  Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/publicsource/
  Twitter: @PublicSourcePA

• Look for any potential issues with the plugin on the Public Source site

End goal: Estimate for installing and configuring for the above changes on their site.

I downloaded a copy of the plugin from the Yoast GitHub repo and checked to see if it functions as described.

• sameAs should be implemented by the core Yoast SEO plugin via the settings at Dashboard > SEO > Social > Accounts, if I'm reading the source code right, but if it isn't we can use a filter on it at https://github.com/Yoast/wordpress-seo/blob/43b776a0785af5023107fb1c3007fcbef49d2aa0/src/generators/schema/organization.php#L79
• even with the plugin active, articles appear to be presented as @type of "Webpage", not "Article" or "NewsArticle"

I'm not sure that the plugin works in a WP_DEBUG environment without a license key.

Installing and activating and configuring the plugin would take ~1h.
Filters if needed wold be 2h custom dev.

Tell me more about the filters and why those might be needed

If the plugin doesn't set the sameAs metadata, then we'd need to set that metadata ourselves. We won't know if it's necessary until PS buys a license for the plugin.
