Currently, the cost of enrichment is at $184/SWU (COA 253) which is roughly in agreement with what the NIA predicts for LEU enrichment (<10%, $150/SWU), though for HALEU (>10%) they predict $1000/SWU driven by criticality safety and Category II facility requirements (see 10 CFR Part 73 which borrows from IAEA INFCIRC/225). Notably, the cost of enrichment is stated to go down to as low as $150/SWU for HALEU given enough demand. It would be good to include increased enrichment cost as a function of the target enrichment due to physical protection frameworks.
