Header element creates unintuitive scroll behavior #50

Description

@anthonyronda

Expected behavior:
-Mousewheel scrolling and Gesture scrolling on a touchpad (such as a Macbook touchpad) scrolls the essay component whether the header or the essay is hovered, but not when the viewer is hovered

  • Touch scrolling on a touchscreen device (such as a smartphone) scrolls the essay component whether the header or the essay is dragged by one's finder, but not when the viewer is touch dragged

Actual behavior:

  • When the mouse is hovered over the header element, scrolling the essay isn't possible without moving the mouse to the essay component. See video
  • On a touch screen, the essay doesn't scroll when the header element (which is quite a lot of screen real estate on a smartphone) is touch dragged. The lower half of the screen must be touch scrolled instead.
