so far the extension was only tested and (will only work) for javascript files. JSLint supports more than that, but I have no clue whether one needs to respect other things for these files. Also the highlighting was not tuned for theses files.
In theory it should work. But it would have to be tested and the check for the file extension has to be modified to allow those are filetypes.
