I do not understand why using the KG as a semantic layer provides less information. Do you mean less "directly available" information?

It also confuses my understanding of your definition of a KG. From those two first chapters, it sounds to me that you agree with the definition that says a KG is an ontology plus de data. But the statement you make at the end of page 40 confuses me.

Do you make a distinction between an ontology and a KG? (I will ask this one in a separate issue)
