No adaptive icon

Icon shape is not adapting to circle shape as any of other apps, it keeps just as a square.

i can't say why this is happening, but i can say all necessary file are present in the app. It might be an issue from the launcher.

It's the stock Honor Home launcher, all other apps icons changes according to theme i set, i tried another shapes, every app changes, this one keeps squared. My bet is that the adaptive icon is not working properly (at last on my device) cause it's not any of the android default icon shapes, it's the PNG mask itself. The downloaded apk is showing same square as icon too and it's not launcher bounded, it looks like this inside any file explorer.
