TimeStack Release Notes

This document prepares the Play Console release name and "What's new" text for the current local release candidate. It does not replace the live Play Console release form.

Release Metadata

  • Release name: TimeStack 1.0 (1)
  • Version name: 1.0
  • Version code: 1
  • Track recommendation: Internal testing first, then closed testing or production after signed-build and physical-phone smoke testing.
  • App bundle path: app/build/outputs/bundle/release/app-release.aab

Play Console Release Notes

Initial TimeStack release candidate: local-first tasks, habits, focus, reminders, reviews, widgets, and user-controlled JSON backups with optional password encryption. No account, ads, analytics, or cloud sync.

Play Notes

  • Release notes are informational and should not be promotional.
  • Each language block must stay at or below 500 Unicode characters.
  • Language tags must be on separate lines from the release notes.
  • Recheck the text after final signed-build smoke testing and before submitting the Play Console release.

Gate Coverage

verifyReleaseNotes checks that this document matches app/build.gradle.kts versionName/versionCode, uses the expected release name, includes en-US and zh-CN language blocks, keeps each block at or below 500 Unicode characters, avoids obvious promotional/solicitation wording and cites Google Play release guidance. It is included in verifyStoreCandidate.
