Why do coronal/sagittal slice counts differ from the number of DICOM files in VolView? #785

Each of your axial slices has a resolution of 265 by 227. VolView makes a 3D texture of the DICOM instances on load. The slice views pick an orthoginal 2D view out of that 3D volume. Is there another approach you were hoping for? |

I’m loading a single CT series in VolView that has 86 DICOM instances (axial acquisition). For a CT series with 86 axial DICOM images, why do the coronal view show 265 slices and sagittal view show 227 slices-How are these counts computed ,are they computed by Volview via the Multiplanar reconstruction or the dicom files themselves include seperate coronal/sagittal stacks.
I'm attaching my dicom dataset that I have used.
