Conflicting/Colliding LSP and LuaSnip snippets cause duplicate snippet inserts

When both LuaSnip and an LSP have a match for a snippet keyword how can I configure it to only use the LSP or only use the LuaSnip match rather than both?

CMP still only shows one suggestion for each completion, but when I select one it expands twice.

Well you're expanding the snippet twice, once using vim.snippet.expand function and another time with require('luasnip').lsp_expand function...

You should only use one of those, not both at the same time!

Ha! What a silly oversight on my part. I initially thought I needed an expand function specifically for luasnip, and a separate one for everything else. Removing vim.snippet.expand solves it.
