create tabs for each user instead of menu bar. This will allow attach an instance of the main widget to each tab, which whill allow each user to have a different climb selected any one time if this is important

Not sure we need seperate instances of the maintab for each user this just sounds slow - we just need a way to track state whether a user is logged in or not
