🚀 How to get this onto the Google Play Store

This part is procedural, not technical.

Step 3: Create a Google Play Developer account

Step 4: Generate a signed release bundle (AAB)

In Android Studio:

  1. Menu → Build

  2. Generate Signed Bundle / APK

  3. Choose Android App Bundle (AAB)

  4. Create a new keystore

    • SAVE THIS FILE

    • SAVE THE PASSWORD

    • Back it up (cloud + local)

  5. Select release

  6. Generate

You’ll get:

app-release.aab

This is the file you upload to Play Store.

Step 5: Create the app listing

In Play Console:

  1. Create new app

  2. Choose:

    • App name

    • Language

    • Free (recommended)

  3. Upload the .aab

Step 6: Required Play Store assets

You’ll need:

  • App icon (512×512 PNG)

  • Feature graphic (1024×500)

  • 2–8 screenshots (phone screenshots are fine)

  • Short description

  • Full description

  • Privacy policy URL

You already have:

  • App content

  • Icons (we generated earlier)

  • Working build

Step 7: Submit for review

  • Fill in content declarations

  • Mark as Educational / Developer Tool

  • Submit

Review usually takes:

First app: ~3–7 days

Updates: hours to 1–2 days
