Disabling DLC

Learn how to disable DLC on Steam and on XBox/Microsoft Store/Gamepass.

For CS2MPMod, you only need to disable DLC that the other players do not have. All players should have the same DLCs activated (or no DLC activated).

Steam

  1. Right click CSL2 in game list or press gear icon on game page
  2. Click on Properties
  3. Navigate to DLC
  4. Disable the relevant DLC

XBox App / Microsoft Store / Gamepass

In the Xbox app:

  1. Open My Library
  2. Right-click CSL2, click Manage
  3. Remove DLC and add-ons

In the Settings app:

  1. Open the Windows Settings.
  2. Navigate to Apps > Installed Apps
  3. Navigate to CSL2. Click on Advanced Options in the three dot menu next to the app.
  4. Remove DLC and add-ons.

The CS1 Treasure Hunt DLC cannot be disabled, so the mod no longer compares it — you can join each other whether or not you own Cities: Skylines 1.
