Per the discussion going on over here, HXDD uses some arcane weaponslot checking method to see if a weapon should be allowed into a player's hands instead of using a built-in property that I can check by calling a base GZDoom function on an inventory item and thus disallow collection under the proper non-matching class circumstances.
