RC or stable release expected before early September 2026?

Hello,

We’re planning a production deployment before early September and need features introduced after v0.8.7. We’re deciding whether to validate a pinned main commit or wait for an RC or stable release.

Is there any rough expectation of an RC or stable release in the next few weeks? No firm ETA is needed, but knowing whether one is likely/unlikely before early September would be helpful for our planning.
