What happened?

What went wrong?

Since updating to the latest LibreChat version, models are not listed for providers configured behind my reverse proxy. Opening a provider's model list shows an empty list ("Search X models...") until I type something in the search box - then the matching models appear (see screenshots).

This worked fine on previous LibreChat versions. My proxy config is unchanged, only the LibreChat version changed, so this looks like a client-side regression rather than an endpoints/config problem (the model data is clearly present - it just doesn't render until a search filters/re-renders the list).

Steps to reproduce

1. Configure one or more providers pointing at an OpenAI-compatible proxy (e.g. NanoGPT, NanoGPT (FLEX), Sail, etc.).
2. Open the model selector and expand a provider (or its model list dropdown).
3. Observe the list is empty.
4. Type any character in the search box - matching models appear immediately.
5. Clear the search - the list is empty again.

Expected

All available models for the provider should be listed immediately, without needing to search.

• LibreChat version: latest (LibreChat@v0.8.8-rc3)
• Deployment: Docker (Docker Compose via Dokploy)
• Provider setup: OpenAI-compatible endpoints via self-hosted reverse proxy
• Browser/OS: Chrome on Desktop and Android (PWA).

Possible cause

Looks like the unfiltered (empty search query) model list renders as empty while the filtered path works - possibly a regression in the model list filtering/rendering introduced in a recent release.
