VSCode-Updater v2.0.2 is now available.

This release continues the work from the 2.0 architecture rewrite and includes:

• improved deterministic update behavior
• hardened logging and exit-code handling
• better handling of system-wide vs user installs
• fixes for edge cases where the built-in VS Code updater fails silently
• more consistent behavior in automation and scheduled tasks

VSCode-Updater solves the long-standing issues with VS Code’s built-in Windows updater:
