From 517c69030697f641e7949d9934009a087c81a3f2 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: =?UTF-8?q?F=C3=A1bio=20Henrique=20Ara=C3=BAjo?= Date: Thu, 29 Oct 2026 16:54:22 -0300 Subject: [PATCH 1/4] feat: read-only MCP server for external AI clients LowNotes serves the open vault to MCP clients over a per-user named pipe (Windows) or Unix socket, after a token handshake. The token lives in the OS credential store and never reaches the webview. Tools list, read and search notes and read links and backlinks; a resource template exposes notes by path. Off by default, and only vaults listed in the MCP settings are served. Tauri bundles the binary next to the app; the release workflow adds it to the portable archives, the universal macOS build and the Arch packages, and the bundle smoke test checks the .deb ships it.
