MediSpace Python Services is the AI and machine-learning monorepo for the MediSpace digital pharmacy platform. It contains FastAPI services for prescription OCR, product recommendation, and Gemma-based AI chat with RAG and medical guardrails.
The services are designed to be called by the MediSpace Node.js backend and support OCR-assisted prescription processing, ML product recommendations, self-hosted/custom LLM workflows, Typesense-backed RAG, article AI assistance, and safer AI responses for pharmacy use cases.
