EMG Raw data rate

Hi Mr @squirelo  @vitaminwater  
I'd like to know the Raw_EMG data rate you can reach to with this code 
I ran the  https://github.com/dzhu/myo-raw           on my Raspberry-Pi
and i get 512  * 8 channel every 10 seconds which is really very slow
Any Help!!
