Thank you @Wendigogo, and sorry for the long wait. You're right that the hard part is people, not files. Of our nine languages only Polish has been read by a native speaker (thanks to Cyryl Sochacki). The five we added in August, Russian, Spanish, Portuguese, German and French, are marked as needing review, and nobody has reviewed them yet. A tool that lets someone fix a line without learning git would help exactly there. Where things stand:
So the application strings are where we'd start. Before we set anything up, it would help to know who would use it. If you, or anyone reading this, would review a language, say which one here. A couple of people are enough for us to connect it. |

Hi,
As you stated in your website nobody arrives from a country whose language the site does not speak.
But why use plain text files on Github while there are great translation tools available? With a lot of people able to help in translating your project.
I could think about https://crowdin.com/ and https://weblate.org/ : both are free of charge for open-source projects (and my preference goes to the first one but it's been a long time I didn't go to the other).
My 0.02 cents
