Why: Hypixel's "MVP++ for life" for high-value community members is excellent retention storytelling AND aligns incentives — community members fix the things they want fixed, project ships faster.
Bar for "meaningful": any merged PR over 50 lines that fixes a bug or adds a feature; any custom plugin shipped via PR; any theme accepted into the bundled set. Exclude doc typos (still appreciated, but lifetime tier is a bigger reward).
