TFCE for Python: a new project?

Hey Armand,

I hope you are doing well.
I am currently intensified my data analysis with you great toolbox... however as you know (or might remember) I am not a big fan of Matlab and at some point in the near future plan to move to python alltogether for my EEG analyses.

So here my BIG question: What do you think about the idea to recreate your toolbox in python?
Do you think that is an appropriate idea & would support it?
Do you know of somebody who had a similar idea - and has already started it?

Would love this. And there are great tools to make the small scripts that are currently written in C to be imported directly into python.

I'm always getting tired to Matlab issues as well and keeping up with weird little changes Matlab decides to do that cost me a lot of time.

I certainly can't handle this project on my own, but would be happy to guide and help out where needed. Ideally this should be integrated within the MNE project for EEG analysis in Python. They seem like they know what their doing and the user community is growing.
