Add buffer-based API support (accepting io.Bytes) to avoid disk writes

It would be helpful to have buffer-based APIs that accept io.Bytes objects instead of file paths. This would eliminate the need to write intermediate data to disk, particularly for the config, DiffuseImg, and similar cases.
