Samba Manager v1.0.0 is the initial release of a comprehensive web-based interface for managing Samba file sharing on Linux systems. - Download the release package for your system
- Extract the archive:
tar -xzf samba-manager-1.0.0.tar.gz # or unzip samba-manager-1.0.0.zip - Navigate to the extracted directory:
cd samba-manager-1.0.0 - Create a virtual environment and install dependencies:
python3 -m venv venv source venv/bin/activate pip install -r requirements.txt - Run the application:
- Development mode (no system changes):
python run.py --dev
- Production mode (modifies system configuration):
./run_with_sudo.sh
