Not sure if there is a way to do it yet,, at least I didn't find it.

But it would be cool to add a way to change the playback rate through code

Like, setting ir through params or a prop. And that we could get the value when it changes through the "ratechange" listener

Currently you can add the control of speed into the params
But not change it programatically, I'll add this in the feature list and try to do it. Thanks for your suggestion.
