The Windows 10 SDK (10.0.19041.0) required for installation on current versions of Windows is no longer supported. A warning will be displayed when installing Visual Studio 2022. You will need to update to a different version. The latest version of Visual Studio is also 2026.

Thanks for reporting this. We should update the documentation to keep in sync with the evolving Windows development ecosystem. Would you be able to provide links for the current versions of Visual Studio and Windows SDK that should used now?

We can download the old version of visual studio community version by below method:

and when install visual studio community, select the default sdk version should be fine.
My version is win11 sdk 10.0.26100

The download URL for Visual Studio 2026 Community is the same as the current documentation (documentation\Moddable SDK - Getting Started.md): https://visualstudio.microsoft.com/ja/downloads/.

As @rillhu mentioned, the default SDK version is v10.0.26100 (currently 10.0.26100.7175).

Building failed with Windows SDK v10.0.26100.0, but the latest version seems to work fine. (An error is occurring with the ESP32 series, but I think that's for a different reason. HelloWorld worked when the platform was running on Windows.)
