Considering bumping GHC to at least 8.10.7 so M1 users can use this project.

I'd like to be able to continue working on haskellings on my Macbook M1 but because GHC is 8.10.4 I cannot compile it on the machine.

I don't think just bumping GHC in the nix shell will be enough (I will give it a try though).

This project seems to be abandoned (no commits in several years, pending issues, and PRs). I created a similarly named repo that's based on current-day best practices, and doesn't need a custom executable.
