I recently installed Moonfin on one of my Android devices but something weird happens when trying to play media with ASS subtitles. It applies a grayish filter to the style of the subtitles directly tied to the screen brightness.
For example if I play something with the screen brightness set to 10%, white subtitles look gray but, if I bump the brightness to 70% they look white. If the style has any other color is like gray filter is applied on top.
This only happens using media3 with ass direct playing enabled. Libmpv or transcoding seem to display the subtitles as they should. Enabling or disabling the HDR different style does nothing and it's happing in SDR content anyway.
For more context I'm using the apk coming directly from the release page.
Is there an option to disable this behavior, is it just me or is it a bug?
