@RadicalMuffinMan Really thanks for the new tizen app.

I can confirm that this version does work on my Samsung Smart Monitor.

However, I also tested it on a 2018 Q8C TV running Tizen 4.0 and noticed a couple of visual glitches.

First, the settings menu appears as shown in the photo.

Second, when opening the details for a movie or series, a gray background with two black bars on the sides appears before the actual background image loads.

The "configure home rows" menu appears without a background, so it is not displayed correctly.

The "libraries" button does not disappear when hovering over it, so you have a button that does nothing when pressed.

Just wanted to drop in and say you’re doing gods work! Thank you for this port to TizenOS!

• I have a 75” Neo QLED and it was a bit laggy navigating through the GUI
• It also had some problems scrubbing through videos
• switching between users also glitched out
• Jellyseerr integration was also a bit laggy and was lacking a search function.

So far I wouldn’t say if make the switch from the official Jellyfin port yet but I just wanted to check this project out and support all I can. I appreciate the work you’re doing, I’ll be sure to follow any updates you add!

Hey @NotFlyr thank you for the feedback. The app is currently being improved for the next release, jellyseerr integration is now done through the Moonfin server plugin here for next release. Give this version a shot and let me know what you think:

I tried the moonfin plugin and I really like it. I also like how you integrated ratings via TMDB, etc. here is what I noticed in 2.0.1:

Problems:

• GUI still a little laggy, may have felt a difference but may also as well be placebo lol

• Jellyseerr integration still very laggy (more compared to the other GUI pages)

• Natively my Neo QLED can stream 4k HDR videos, the native Jellyfin client is able to direct play HDR content. But for some reason direct playing HDR content via Moonfin does not work. I tried to enable the prefer transcoding setting but it didn't fix it.

• I can now switch between users which is fixed from 2.0.0, but now when switching content data from the original user was persistent even when switching to the new user.

• Content excluded from the account logged into Moonfin is sometimes viewable in other areas

Observations:

• I really like the GUI and aesthetics of Moonfin, I also enjoy the customizability of aesthetics like how I am able to configure the top menu bar and remove what I want

• Screensaver is also a really nice touch

• overall 2.0.1 fixed a lot of things, such as being able to scrub through media, but introduced the direct playing HDR issue as stated above

Possible feature requests:

• Searchbar for searching within jellyseerr tab

• Maybe integrate a plugin for recommendations based on watch history (like streamystats?) this would be an amazing feature and really take this client to the next level. It may even set this client apart from others and get more exposure on the project

• Possibility of being able to configure and add more homescreen elements via configurable rows when the client becomes more polished (Jellyseerr content, streamystats recommendations, etc)

Overall this client has a lot of potential and I can see myself running it once the playback issues get fixed. A lot of the requests I made were me just spitballing possible features, I know app development is easier said than done.
